6:Steel making & Forging processing

1): Steel making process:

  EF+LF+VD

  EAF+LF+VD

2): Forging processing:

Hot forging temperature: 800-1100℃

Cooling in the air

7: Heat treatment  

Annealed:

Heat 410 steel to 800-900℃, slow cooling

Or heat 410 steel to 750℃, quick cooling

Quenching and tempering:

Heat 410 steel to 950-1000℃

Cooling in the oil

Temper steel at 700-750℃, quick cooling

8:Application

410 stainless steel is a martensitic stainless steel with medium corrosion resistance, high strength and hardness. Its main application areas include:

1. Knives and Cutting Tools:

1) Table knives, surgical instruments, razor blades

2) Industrial cutting tools, mold parts

2. Machinery and Automotive Components

1) Pump shafts, valve parts, fasteners (bolts, nuts)

2) Turbine blades, bearing collars

3) Automotive exhaust system parts (resistant to high-temperature oxidation)

3. Petroleum and Chemical Equipment

1) Valves, flanges resistant to weakly corrosive environments, Pipe fittings
