Grade: 35CrNi3MoV Forging
35CrNi3MoV steel is a low-alloy forging steel containing chromium (0.50%–1.20%), nickel (2.50%–3.30%), molybdenum (0.40%–0.70%), and vanadium (0.10%–0.25%), with carbon controlled at 0.30%–0.40% and residuals P≤0.012%, S≤0.005% for high purity and fine grain structure (ASTM No.8+), ensuring excellent hardenability and low-temperature toughness.

35CrNi3MoV steel is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum-vanadium alloy structural steel. Featuring balanced high strength, excellent hardenability, great low-temperature impact toughness and stable fatigue resistance, this grade is widely manufactured into open-die forgings for heavy-duty working conditions under combined impact, pressure and alternating load.
Our 35CrNi3MoV forgings are produced by EAF+LF+VD refining process. Strict forging ratio control and professional QT heat treatment guarantee uniform microstructure and consistent mechanical properties. Products comply with NB/T 47008-2017, customized dimensions and inspection standards are acceptable.

A1: With the addition of vanadium element, 35CrNi3MoV realizes grain refinement. It delivers better low-temperature impact toughness, higher fatigue resistance and weaker temper brittleness. Under the same section size, its hardenability is superior, suitable for thick-section heavy forgings with strict toughness requirements.
A2: We provide multiple delivery states as required: normalized, annealed, quenched and tempered (QT). Quenched & tempered treatment is the most common solution to achieve balanced strength and toughness. Stress relief annealing service is also available after rough machining.
A3: Our forgings follow NB/T 47008 standard. Available tests include spectroscopic chemical analysis, tensile test, low-temperature impact test, hardness inspection, metallographic analysis. Non-destructive testing such as UT, MT and PT can be implemented according to customer technical requirements. Full MTR test reports will be provided.
A4: We customize various forged blanks: shaft forgings, hollow cylinder forgings, ring forgings, disc forgings, rectangular blocks and special-shaped forgings. Single forging weight can reach up to 25 tons. Rough turning and finished CNC machining services are supported.
