C105W1 / 1.1545 is a widely used carbon tool steel that belongs to the German standard DIN EN 17350. It is known for its high hardness, good wear resistance, and excellent machinability, making it suitable for applications such as cutting tools, knives, blades, and precision components requiring sharp edges. Many countries have equivalent steel grades to DIN 1.1545, such as: SK3 from the Japanese standard JIS G4401, T10 from the Chinese standard GB/T 1298, C105U from the International standard ISO 4957.
